RESOLUTIONS -- UNLEASH YOUR BEST YOU IN 2019!

When January comes around are you psyched to start your big New Year's resolutions; or are you overwhelmed and discouraged before you even start? Here are some tips to set you up for success in 2019.

BE INSPIRED! There is inspiration literally everywhere. Read our social posts, fitness and nutrition article links, Jazzercise blogs and talk to your friends at Jazzercise. There are so many special people in our midst with amazing transformation stories to tell. Participate in our Challenges and Attendance Games throughout the year. Come to class and check out the cute tank YOU could win in 2019 if you hit 150 classes during the year!

FOCUS ON DAILY AND WEEKLY GOALS. Annual goals can be a little daunting but if you break them down into achievable to-dos, like attending class three times per week, or saving treats for the weekend, everything feels more manageable. Those small accomplishments are satisfying, motivating, inspire confidence and create positive momentum for success. We were all taught that "when we take care of the pennies the dollars take care of themselves" but this was meant to be a lesson about life, not just dollars and cents.

DEVELOP POSITIVE RITUALS OF SELF LOVE and SELF CARE.Your health and happiness are your responsibility. If something is broken in your life, fix it. Sometimes that means changing your circumstances and sometimes it means changing your mindset. It may not be easy, but it is definitely worth it. YOU are worth it! Fill yourself up so that you have something to give back to your family and friends, your employer and your community. When we develop positive daily habits, we don't have to think about them or why we should or shouldn't do them, we just do them and these rituals set us up for success in every aspect of our lives! BE KIND TO YOURSELF. If you have an off day or bad week, don't beat yourself up and don't give up. Let it go and refocus. Celebrate what you have achieved don't fret about what you haven't. Just as 2019 is, as yet, unwritten, so is tomorrow! Surround yourself with positive energy, breathe it all in, and write a good year, one day, one week, one month at a time. Believe in yourself because when you do, you unleash your very best you and you become unstoppable!
